Abstract: This paper takes the manufacturing of non-circular gear as an example to analyze thenon-circular gear s tip curve error influence upon it s contact ratio which is manufactured by involutecylindrical shape cutter, and it provides a theory basis to control strictly non-circular gear s contactratio.
