Through the field investigation of physical properties of the salini-alkani soil in West Jilin Province and the stable carbon isotopic analysis of carbonates in salini-alkani soil,the results show that the δ~(13)C value of the soil carbonates can reflect the developing tendency of the soil saliniation.
