Taking sodium thiocarbonate as raw material,the precursor HgCS_3 is synthesized by liquid phase reaction at room temperature,then HgCS_3 is decomposed in the autoclave at proper temperature and pressure to form nanometer HgS,whose composition,size and shape are characterized by XRD and TEM.
